Many of you may know some facts about what to and how to get a mate and have pups. However, let me allow you to take the time and review over the most important notices about mate's and pups clearly.
Companions
You are not allowed to "flirt" or "crush on" above ranks. Newcomers have more important things to be concerned about. These follow along the lines of meeting the members of the pack, exploring their new home and getting to know their leaders. Newcomers may crush upon others, however, to a minimum only other newcomers.
You may only have ONE companion. Having multiple mates will result in separation.
To initialize your final decision of becoming forever companions. You and your significant other, must travel together with an elite and sit by the Oceanside at sunset and press your paws next to each other in the white sand. This location is named after the leader herself, though with a more romantic layout; "Lovers by the shore". This symbolizes that you two have become companions. From there, an elite will guide you to the meadows, where you will enjoy your time privately under the stars and moon, stargazing and in a bed of flowers, accompanied by the silent surroundings and the soft breeze that swoops across the silvery plateau.
I recommend waiting at least a month, before making the decision to bring pups into the world and introducing them to the pack.
If you had a mate that has been kicked, banned, etc. Then you may choose to become mates with another solitary canid anytime you'd like. You must know them beforehand.
Anyone that ignores and disobeys these rules, they will not allowed to be mates with one another for roughly 3 months or longer.
Whippersnappers
Those willing to introduce pups must wait at least a month to start having them.
The max amount of pups you can have are 5. Minimum of 4.
The pups must be dispersed by their first year.
The pups must have the same genetics as their parents. Or at least a partial percentage of one or the other.
Not all pups survive after birth and even during. Some should live, considering pups born in the wild do not entirely live on.
Do not include graphic details when "mating". Please "Black-out" when the time comes sometime during Rp. Reminder to keep it age apropiate.
When the time times to give birth, keep it realistic. Once you become pregnant with your companion, your female will not come to an point to "burst" a day later. Wait around a week (real life time)
You can role-play your own pups or have someone do the part. You can give birth or adopt. Adopting means you can have someone change characters from their previous to anew instantly with permission via Admin. They will live the life of a pup, realistically speaking they cannot survive alone. Most likely they will die on their own, or left to the exposure for predators. Pups need milk to survive, by 8 weeks they can start testing meat as their purpose of food by their parents. Eventually, they'll be able to be on their own, with some minor supervision.
Adopting Pups
You cannot adopt a pup if you do not have a mate.
In order to adopt, the pup must be authorized by another member, not yourself!
Your companion, yourself and the member offering to be adopted must all agree
If the pup is taken care of poorly and neglected, used as a "pose" for attention, you will lose your guardianship, provoked by another elite to confiscate your youth. By that point, you will not be able to take care of that previous pup or adopt in the near future for a prolong time.
Keep in mind that, pups and companions are a privilege and not just a right. Used carelessly, your privilege will be removed.
Penalties
If the following companions fail to follow the rules and guidelines, the following may happen to both partners.
Female & male characters, cannot be mates again in the future. Regardless of a change.
Female & male character, cannot have another mate within the two month range. This goes along the lines of after the change.
For those not willing to follow these important notices,, discipline will be held against those that disobey!
